We believe every child should grow up with a great smile. We also believe that every child has it within him or her to be a great dental patient, even if he or she (or a parent) has had negative dental experiences in the past. That's why we stress early dental visits, which allow children to get used to visiting our office and establish good preventive habits. Trips to the dentist's office should be fun and easy, and we do all we can to establish this from your child's very first visit.
An important part of our job is to educate children and their parents on good dental habits and preventive maintenance. While fixing a cavity is usually an easy experience, it's never as easy as preventing the cavity in the first place! We encourage parents to take an active role in their child's oral health and welcome parents to participate in their child's cleaning visits.
We also understand that some children have already had negative dental experiences. Dr. Faiyaz prides himself on being able to help eliminate these fears. Believe it or not, most of these children soon look forward to their dental visits!
Our office also believes in providing access to high quality dental care for all patients. We accept many insurance programs, including Medicaid, to make sure no child is denied access to the care he or she deserves. |
